Sport Club Corinthians Paulista is a club team located in Sao Paulo City. The team was established by a group of laborers in 1910. Miguel Battaglia, the fi rst president, said “The Corinthians will be a team of citizens, and the citizens will make up the team.”The Corinthians, therefore, is known as a team owned by the supporters, but not a team having the supporters. The team won All Brazil Soccer Championship 6 times and the championships of the province of Sao Paulo 27 times, the Copa Libertadores in 2012, and FIFA Club World Cup in 2000 and 2012, throughout its history of 105 years.
