The New South Wales team continue to enjoy the opportunity to participate in the Tokyo U-14 International Youth Football Tournament 2017. We have attended every year with the squad gaining valuable experience. Our squad are all members of the National Australian Game Training Program with members participating in the National Youth Championships for their Federation team. Our team philosophy is based around the 1-4-3-3 playing system and on our style of proactive ball possession, with creative and attacking players which we will aim to implement throughout the tournament.
We are pleased to be invited back to participate in the tournament and are well aware of the quality of opposing teams and we know both players and coaches will make many friends on and off the pitch. A special thanks goes to the Tokyo Municipal Government, Tokyo Football Association, tournament sponsors and especially the administrators who organise the event.
