Champion of the first tournament 2008, Berlin comes to this tournament with key players from feeder teams to Hertha BSC, prestigious 1. Bundesliga club, and Union Berlin of 2. Bundesliga, as well as players for amateur teams. They commented, "We want to play aggressively by leveraging our technical and tactical skill, and make this competition as a opportunity that help our players improve." Last year they bitterly lost to FC Tokyo in the semifinals. This year they aim for their first title in their last nine tournaments.
