Hailing from the capital of Indonesia, Jakarta is participating this year, the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Japan and Indonesia. 16 players of the team were selected from a total of 200 candidates through physical tests and one month of training. They commented, "In this tournament, we hope to train the next generation of players by competing against the strong teams of the world and give our players a chance to interact with other cultures as they represent their country."
