ブエノスアイレスの歴史

In 1536, a Spanish explorer founded a city called Ciudad de Nuestra Señora Santa María del Buen Ayre, although it disappeared due to famine. In 1580, the city was reconstructed by the European frontiers (from current Paraguay) as the city of La Trinidad. It successfully grew up as a tradeport, and in 1776 Buenos Aires became the capital of the Viceroyalty and the port was formally opened. In 1880, the city of Buenos Aires was separated from Buenos Aires Province and formally became the capital of Argentina.
