Paris(Selected Team)

The best players belonging to the CDPF, an organization developing young players in clubs and teams in Paris, were selected for this tournament. We look forward to being able to engage in international exchange with everyone.

Introduction of City

The capital of France. A world city with organisations gathered from the Political, Economical and Cultural arena. The population is over 10 million and within the EU it surpasses that of London in magnitude. France has had an enormous influence in the world in the areas of Fashion, Art, Culinary and Motion Picture. The information dissemination city of Paris has been crowned the “City of Art” and international exhibitions and shows are held there. Also it is popular for its tourism with plenty of tourist locations such as its world heritage site and its historical townscape.

History

There are records of people living there since 250 BC. 212 years under Roman rule .they renamed the Roman village “Lutetia” to Paris after the indigenous Parisii tribe and the capital of the Frank empire became Paris. In the era of Charles the Great it was transferred to Aachen but in the Dynasty era of the 17th century after the France revolution it was returned to Paris. In the early 19-20th century with the international exposition being held and the construction of the Eiffel tower and the Metro it was an era of most prosperity and hence this era was named “Belle Epoque (the good year)”.
