New South Wales(Selected Team)The New South Wales Team has participated every year since the launch of the Tokyo International Youth Football (U-14) Tournament. This year, a practice camp was held in Singapore, where the players intensively practiced a playing style of thinking ahead about ball possession. We want to show you the results of our training at this tournament.

Introduction of City

New South Wales is located in southeast of the Australian continent and has 1/3 of total population in Australia. It was named when Captain Cook had set foot on the ground and declared it on British territory. Sydney, the state city, was colonized in the earliest years and it is now the biggest international city in Australia, consisted of many immigrants from all over the world. The Opera House and the Harbor Bridge are very famous in the world as tourist attractions. New South Wales is commonly called NSW.

History

ニューサウスウェールズの歴史Aborigine resided along the Sydney coast in ancient times. In the 18th century, European started to explore in and around the Australian continent. In 1770, Captain Cook landed in Botany Bay and declared it on British territory. In 1778, the first group of immigrant arrived from England and started to colonize the land. Sydney has been well developed ever since, and New South Wales colonial government was established in 1855. It became the state due to the formation of Commonwealth of Australian. It hosted the Summer Olympic in 2000.
